TPX Impact Panel event
In April 2024 I was invited to speak at TPX Impact Digital Forum. This panel event was about the Government Service Standard the past present and future, and included colleagues from CDDO and MHCLG.

Building a worldwide movement of changemakers, Community Leadership Summit
I was invited to speak alongside colleagues Imran Hussain and James Cattell at the Community Leadership Summit, part of TechFestival Copenhagen September 2019.

Storytelling in service delivery, Service Design in Government conference
I was selected to speak at SDinGov conference in September 2020 on the subject of Storytelling. I brought together a group of speakers to talk about why storytelling is important in service delivery and the various ways that we have incorporated it into our work.

Keynote: Championing Digital Transformation across Local Government, Digital Government conference
I was invited to give a keynote talk at the Digital Government Conference on behalf of the Local Digital Collaboration Unit for MHCLG (now DLUHC) in September 2021.

Weeknotes for your Personal and Professional Development, Ada’s List Conference
I was selected from over 100 submissions to speak at the in-person Ada’s List conference at the Financial Times offices in London in November 2019.

Network Building for Public Servants, Apolitical
In October 2019 Apolitical invited me to deliver a Crash Course in Network-Building for Public Servants with Nour Sidawi, and Miki Stricker-Talbot from the Government of Edmonton Canada.

Sketchnoting for beginners, One Team Gov Global Unconference
I ran this workshop for public servants at the One Team Gov Global Unconference in London in September 2019. It included details about why we sketchnote and how to get started.

Creating Safe Spaces for Challenge, being a Lead Assessor for Government Service Standard Assessments
I was selected to speak at the SD in Gov conference in Edinburgh in September 2019 about the Government Service Standard. This presentation included details about why we assess services and how to make these useful and safe spaces for service teams in government.

Storytelling for beginners, UK Gov Camp, Dorset Council’s Festival of the Future and Muslims ant GDS Community
I’ve run workshops about storytelling using very simple structure using the children’s book the Tiger Who Came to Tea. I’ve run this workshop at UK GovCamp, Dorset Council’s Festival of the Future, and for the Muslims at GDS community.
