Compelling comms
I understand that design work needs to engage many types of stakeholders and am adept at creating compelling outputs that help to easily communicate work to project teams and help them to gain buy-in for future projects.

Problem
The Changing Futures Data workstream joined the wider programme delivery in September and had a limited time to work with a selection of areas to support them to make better use of their data to support people experiencing multiple disadvantages.
I lead a team to take an agile approach to supporting areas, this helped to accelerate delivery, but didn’t result in all activities being completed towards their vision. We needed to produce a compelling artifact to leave with Changing Futures area teams that would support them to garner ongoing support for the work.
Approach
I supported the team to deliver a simple visual case study that CF areas could distribute or talk through with their leadership teams to help them understand progress made and outstanding work.
A simple timeline helped to quickly communicate the progress made in a short timeframe and effectively show the outstanding steps needed to meet the area’s vision.
Outcome
Changing Futures areas teams responded to outputs very favorably and were able to share these with their teams and used them to support business cases for further work to improve data sharing and usage as part of the programme.
